Pamela Babb is primarily a nature photographer, but has been
known to photograph historical sites, such as the Texas Missions
in San Antonio and Gonzales. She learned her craft under the
mentorship of a Master Craftsman Photographer who also gave
her her photographic moniker, “The Texas Backyard Photographer”.
She’s an avid gardener and it was gardening that triggered a
passion for bird and butterfly watching. Watching morphed into
photographing and before long she was selling her photos and
note cards to friends and family. They encouraged her to jury
for the River Art Group Gallery which she did in 2005. She’s
been a member of the River Art Group Gallery for four years.
Her nature photos and mission photos are displayed in homes
