Originally from England, Margaret is a retired secretary who
studied art for many years at several colleges in England. The
media she used were many, but she promised herself that when
she retired, she would concentrate solely on watercolor.
Margaret resettled to the United States with her English husband in 1986
and built their home, which meant there was little time for painting. However,
living in the Texas countryside, surrounded by nature, her dream was kept
alive. Retiring in 1993, Margaret was finally able to fulfill the promise to
herself. She concentrates on watercolor paintings of Texas wildflowers and
cowboys, portraits by commission, English and Texas landscapes. Margaret's
paintings are in private collections in England, Scotland, Australia and
towns and cities throughout the United States.
